Graduation Information Application for Graduation Whether you plan to participate in commencement or not, you are required to apply for graduation at the Office of the Registrar on the East or West Campus by the deadline for the semester in which you intend to graduate. The deadlines are as follows: May graduation deadline for application is February 28 or the following Monday if falling on a weekend. August graduation deadline for application is June 30 or the following Monday if falling on a weekend. December graduation deadline for application is October 15 or the following Monday if falling on a weekend. Application (PDF format) DiplomasDiplomas are mailed to you within approximately nine weeks after the semester ends. RegaliaPlease drop by the DMC Bookstore in the Harvin Student Center between Monday, April 13 and Thursday, May 14 to purchase your cap & gown during regular bookstore hours: 8 am to 5 pm Monday through Thursday and 8 am – 1 pm on Friday. Gowns are not pre-ordered. The price for the cap, gown and tassel is $32.99. If you need an extra cap or tassel, they can be purchased individually. The cap is $11.99 and a tassel is $5.49. The last day to purchase graduation regalia is on Thursday, May 14, 2015. Graduates may order announcements, diploma frames and class rings online at www.dmcbookstore.com. Click on Graduation on the bottom left hand side of the home page and follow the link for the desired item. Announcements take 2-3 weeks for printing and delivery.
