Physical Facilities maintains and repairs departmental vehicles and equipment. The assigned vehicle or equipment operator is responsible for coordinating maintenance and/or repair of their assigned vehicle and equipment.
    Vehicle inspections are performed weekly. Maintenance of vehicles and equipment is performed on a regular schedule as recommended by the manufacturer and includes:

    • Fluid changes
    • Tire and brake maintenance
    • Battery maintenance
    • Inspections sticker and licensing
    • Major engine and drive train overhaul/replacement
    • Turn-ups
    • Minor body damage
    • Mirror and glass replacement
    • Miscellaneous repairs such as lights, upholstery, etc.
    • Maintaining maintenance and repair logs on all vehicles and equipment
