Alumni Association’s Recognition Program Includes Six Nomination Categories

Article by: Melinda Eddleman

The Del Mar College Vikings Alumni Association is calling for nominations for their second annual “Blue and Silver Spectacular” Awards recognition program and has extended the submittal deadline to May 31. Last fall, the association recognized their first round of six honorees, who represented “stellar” support to the College, its students and the community.

The Alumni Association is ready to add a new group of six spectacular representatives who fall into one of the following categories, including Distinguished Friend of the College, Distinguished Alumni, Young Alumni, Outstanding Alumni, Distinguished Faculty and Distinguished Staff.

Criteria for distinctions in each category, the process for nominating individuals, how to submit nominations and an online form are available at www.delmar.edu/alumni/awards_info.aspx.
