If area residents haven’t already, now is the time to register for fall credit courses at Del Mar College to ensure they get the class schedule they want. Currently through Thursday, Aug. 16, advising and online and in-office registration for fall 2012 classes are underway.
The current registration opportunity runs through 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 16, with payment for tuition and fees also due by that same time.
Fall semester credit classes begin on Monday, Aug. 27.
Information about the College’s registration opportunities––including important dates, the admissions process, payment deadlines and much more––is available online at www.delmar.edu/registration.
Students already in the College’s system can go to WebDMC, a one-stop-shop for all DMC students’ registration needs, along with other services such as checking their financial aid status, paying for courses and more. To access WebDMC, go to www.delmar.edu/webdmc/.
For additional registration information and advising services, individuals can contact the DMC Student Enrollment Center by calling 698-1290 (East Campus), 698-1741 (West Campus) or toll-free at 1-800-652-3357. Interested individuals can also email the College at enroll@delmar.edu.
Del Mar College will hold a New Student Orientation for first-time students from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 24, beginning in Richardson Performance Hall on the East Campus (Baldwin and Ayers). This fun-filled event is informative and will help new students not only prepare for their first class day, which is the following Monday, but also educate them about the variety of services and activities that can enhance their DMC experience.
New students need to register online for the orientation at www.delmar.edu/register_for_orientation/.
