Two District Seats and One At-Large Seat Up for Election

By the filing deadline of 5 p.m. today, Aug. 20, a total of eight individuals had filed for a place on the ballot for the Del Mar College Board of Regents November election. Three seats––which include one At-Large, District 1 and District 3 seats––will be included on the Nov. 6 election ballot.

On the DMC Board of Regents, five regents represent specific geographic districts while four serve At-Large. The Del Mar College District includes all the area in the Calallen, Corpus Christi, Flour Bluff, Tuloso-Midway and West Oso Independent School Districts. 

Candidates will draw for their place on the ballot Tuesday, Aug. 28, at 11:30 a.m. in the Isensee Board Room on the first floor of the Harvin Student Center on Del Mar College’s East Campus (Baldwin and Ayers).
