Admission Requirements

Del Mar College uses an applicant's Social Security number as a permanent reference number. An applicant without a Social Security number may either obtain one, or the Office of the Registrar will assign a unique matriculation number upon request.

Social Security Numbers (SSN) are highly confidential and legally protected data. As an alternate to the SSN, Del Mar College has created a unique ID number (Campus Wide ID or CWID) for each member of the campus community. This means SSNs will no longer appear on most online and written communications.

All students are eligible to take advantage of web registration as long as ALL admission requirements are met. FIVE WORKING DAYS are required to prepare completed admission files for web registration.
