Alumni Council

The Del Mar College Alumni Council guides the planning and activity of the Alumni Association in collaboration with the college. Council members serve as advisors to the college, as well as ambassadors to students, other alumni and the community. They build enthusiasm for the college and association programs, encourage involvement and recruit new council members, members and supporters.

Dear Fellow Alumni,
In 1976, having just graduated 749th out of 750 in my High School class, college was the last thing on my mind. Four years later I was a student at Del Mar College and the college was the center of my life. Many years have passed since then, but I know my education at Del Mar is a big part of who and what I am today.

For 75 years of academic excellence and because of the countless stories like mine, the Alumni Association allows Del Mar College to continue to be part of the lives of those who attended Del Mar and enhance the experience for those who are currently attending.

The alumni of Del Mar College makes up a powerful group of individuals that has not only had a positive impact on South Texas, but the world. We are on the global stage. Staying connected as alumni, we become even more powerful.

As we travel through life, let us unite as alumni, not only for our own good, but also for the good of our great college.

Del Mar College was there for me when very few were. I will always be there for them.
