Department of Business Administration
In Memoriam
Ed Cohn (1942 - 2009)
Instructor of Business Administration (2000 - 2009)
Ed Cohn served as an Economics Instructor for the Department of
Business Administration from 2000 to 2009. He also served in many capacities for the department throughout the years, such as advisor to
Alpha Beta Gamma Honor Society and Junior Achievement for many years, as well as serving as President of the Faculty Council for two terms.
A hallmark of his teaching was his dedication for his students. He worked tirelessly to help them achieve success! This can be witnessed by the following student comments:
"Great Professor! I hated economics but taking his class was really
easy for me to understand. I would recommend any class he teaches.
He is easy to understand and very helpful."
"Mr. Cohn is a great teacher who really cares about his students. He is extremely helpful
and is willing to go out of his way to help his students understand the material. He gives
A LOT of extra credit opportunities. He truly cares. I highly recommend him."
He was an enthusiastic supporter of our organization, and a great asset to the Department of Business Administration and Del Mar College. He will truly be missed!

"Good teachers impart good education. Great teachers groom their students to become leaders. Ordinary teachers direct us along the right path, but great teachers inspire us to seek our own path. They encourage us to discover our talents."
