Pre-Architecture

Students pursuing a degree at an institution offering a professional architectural degree may follow this degree program. University programs in architecture usually consist of a four year baccalaureate degree plus a master's degree to achieve a professional architectural degree. Although this program is designed to transfer to the architectural programs at Texas Tech University, it may transfer to other architectural schools in Texas or in other states. Students seeking a professional architectural degree should consult with the institution to which the transfer is planned to verify applicability of this degree plan and make needed adjustments in consultation with an advisor at Del Mar College. Students interested in a career in architecture are encouraged to contact the instructors of the Pre-Architecture program at Del Mar College for advising.
