Healthcare Programs

The Department of Health Care Programs offers a variety of courses to meet the needs of adults who are seeking to train for entry-level positions in the health care industry, increase their knowledge base, or meet continuing professional education requirements. Most programs do not offer credit hours, but are designed to award contact hours or continuing professional education units.

Most courses are offered in the evenings and weekends to accommodate the needs of working adults. Course length may vary from one day to several months. Both clinical and clerical professions in the health care industry are represented in the variety of courses offered.
