Mission and Goals of the Child Development/Early Childhood Program

The Mission of the Child Development/Early Childhood Program is to provide fully accredited occupational, academic and pre-professional courses leading to certificate, associate degrees, and/or the first two years of transferable credit toward a baccalaureate degree. The CD/EC Program also provides students with opportunies to train for economic independence; and to prepare for job entry, occupational advancement, and career development. The Program is committed to the concept of the learning college and focuses on student learning.
