The Computer Information Systems (CIS) department is located in the B. R. Venters Business Building. In 1995 the building was renamed in honor of former Del Mar President Buddy R. Venters who retired after 40 years of service. |

| Computer Classroom This is one of the many technologically advanced classrooms in the computer department. Each computer operates with Windows 98 or a higher operating system and is connected to the Internet. |

| CISCO Classroom
The CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) class supports introductory network classes on how to install, configure, and operate simple-routed LAN, routed WAN, and switched LAN networks. |

|
| CISCO Advanced Classroom
The CCNP (CISCO Certified Networking Professional) class involves complex networking concepts such as troubleshooting tools and more sophisticated configurations including routers, switches, and bridges. |

| NT Server Room
NT Server Room supports the faculty server and other NT servers that support classroom instruction. |
