• CLEP(College Level Exam Program)

    The College Level Examination Program (CLEP) is a national program of credit by examination that allows examinees to obtain recognition for college level achievement. The Del Mar College Testing Center offers all 33 CLEP exams.  CLEP exams cover material taught in courses that most students take as requirements in the first two years of college.

    *BEFORE REGISTERING, verify with your institution/counselor if the particular CLEP exam you will be taking is accepted. 

    To Register for CLEP:

    1) Go to www.collegeboard.org/clep to create an account and pay the $80 exam fee (Credit/Debit ONLY)

    2) Print the Registration Ticket

    3) Bring the Registration Ticket and $12 (Cash, Check, Credit/Debit or Money Order) proctor fee to the Testing Center located at 3013 Ayers to schedule the exam


    What should I do with my personal belongings?  

    Examinees are allowed to bring only items allowed by individual exams into the Testing Labs.  Examinees may NOT bring any prohibited items into the Testing Labs, including but not limited to:  backpacks, purses, wallets, cell phones, electronic devices, watches, noisy jewelry, food/drink, any unauthorized testing aid, etc...

    Examinees will be given a locker measuring 18(L) x 12(W) x 12(H)  and key to place prohibited items.  Items that do not fit into the locker need to be returned to the examinee's car, home or other secure area.  Del Mar College is not responsible for lost or stolen items
