COMPASS (for placement only) The COMPASS (Computer-Adaptive Placement Assessment and Support System) is a computerized assessment/placement exam. COMPASS measures students’ mathematics, reading, essay, and writing skills on demand and reports results immediately. COMPASS is NOT a timed test for the reading, writing, and math portions. However, the essay has a time limit of 60 minutes for completion. Test scores are good for five years. Cost: $29.00 Retest Cost: $16.00 (Math, Reading, Writing or combination)Retest Cost: $13.00 (Essay) COMPASS TESTING FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.
