Academic Advising

The purpose of academic advising is to assist students in developing meaningful educational plans that compliment their life goals. This should be viewed as a continuous process of clarification and evaluation. Advising is available throughout the year in the following areas:

A ssess educational needs regarding admissions, testing, and college goals.

Develop educational plan for liberal arts and undeclared majors.

Verify graduation requirements.

Increase awareness of career opportunities and resources.

Select appropriate courses including prerequisite requirements.

E valuate college entrance test scores.
