- You must complete and submit a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) for the academic year that you are applying. Please make sure that you have included Del Mar College on the list of schools to receive your Student Aid Report (SAR). You can pick up a paper FAFSA from the Financial Aid Office or complete it online at www.fafsa.ed.gov.
- If you are a high school student, you must include a copy of your high school transcript with your application.
- If you are concurrently attending another college or university and wish to use credit hours taken at these schools to reach fulltime status (12 credit hours), please include a copy of your current registration with your application.
- You must include two letters of recommendation, at least one of which is from a current or former teacher. Please submit the letters in a sealed envelope with your name written on the front.
- You must include a one page typed essay with your application. Please limit yourself to no more than two pages, single spaced, 12pt font. The topic of this essay should be, "How will this scholarship help you meet your educational goals at Del Mar College?"
