NOTE: Remember to change passwords after initial log in and NEVER share your password with anyone.

NOTE:  It is vital you log in to your online course or at least contact your instructor within the first week of the start of the term.  Failing to do so may result in being dropped from the course.

Are you READI?

Prior to beginning your online course(s) please complete the READI indicator for online success.  READI stands for Readiness for Education At a Distance Indicator and is a series of questions designed to indicate your readiness for taking online courses. The READI indicator takes 25-30 minutes to complete and asks questions dealing with the online course environment in the areas of reading comprehension, technical competency, individual attributes, preferred learning styles, and typing speed and accuracy.  Upon completion you receive immediate feedback in the form of colorful charts, graphs, and text.  Remedial activities will be suggested for areas you may be weak in.  You only need to take the READI indicator once regardless of the number of Web-based courses you take at Del Mar College.  To begin, go to

24/7 Tutoring Service Available September 2008

Beginning September 2008, Del Mar College students will have access to Smarthinking, an online tutoring service offering extended hour (up to 24/7) access to live tutors in subjects such as Mathematics, Algebra, Calculus, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Anatomy and Physiology, Accounting, Economics, Finance, Spanish, Statistics, and others. To access Smarthinking, simply log in to MyDMC at http://mydmc.delmar.edu and click the Smarthinking link. You’ll have your choice of a live chat with a tutor, submitting a question for a 24 hour response (usually sooner), scheduling an appointment for a live chat, or simply browsing their assortment of supplemental materials. Studying late and have a question? Smarthinking is there for you!
