The Del Mar College Information Technology Department provides help desk assistance for students seeking assistance with the online classroom. Students requesting technical assistance with an online course should be ready to provide the Helpdesk with their name, the course name, the section number, and the instructor name. The most common requests for assistance involve:

  • WebCT login assistance
  • Problems accessing the Web-based classroom
  • Ancillary software (Plug-in problem such as Real Player, Flash, etc.)
  • Browser compatibility assistance
  • Connecting to the Del Mar College WebCT classroom
  • Orientations to WebCT

The Helpdesk is available:

  • Live assistance (361-698-2330):
    • Monday -Thursday 7:30 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.
    • Friday 7:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
  • Email assistance helpdesk@delmar.edu (available 24/7)
    • Students using the Helpdesk email can expect a response within 24 hours

Please note that the Helpdesk does not assist with problems related to course content. Please contact your instructor for questions and assistance with course work.
