Are you ready for Distance Learning?

Find out by completing the READI assessment. The READI assessment examines your strengths and weaknesses related to distance learning in the five critical areas of:

  1. Individual attributes – procrastination, time management, willingness to ask for help, academic attributes
  2. Learning styles – what is your predominant learning style?
  3. Technical competency, skills, and knowledge
  4. On-screen reading speed and comprehension
  5. Typing speed and accuracy

It takes about 30 minutes from start to finish but you may log out and complete it later if necessary. To begin your READI:

  1. Go to delmar.readi.info
  2. Log in using the user name and password provided in your Welcome Letter or your instructor.

After logging in, you will receive an email from READI with a PIN number that allows you to log back in or review your results at a later time. You will receive a full color report immediately following the completion of all areas of READI. Your READI results will also include remedial tools to assist in strengthening your identified weaknesses.

Remember that your READI score will not prevent you from registering for online classes but it is a tool that will help you in becoming a better online student.
