Jeff has been the director of E-Learning Services since April 2005. He was previously the Assistant Director of the Center for Distance Learning and Teaching Effectiveness at The University of Texas-Pan American. He has also held positions of instructional designer, director of staff training and HRIS manager. Jeff has a BBA from Corpus Christi State University and an M.Ed. in Educational Technology from the University of Texas, Brownsville. He is currently doing doctoral work in the Instructional Technology and Distance Education program at Nova Southeastern University. His research interests include social presence, distance learning administration, and Web 2.0. |

Abby is a PC Support Technician and in her first year with the Information Technology Department. She is assigned to the Department of Distance Learning to provide WebCT and other learning technology support assistance. Abby is a Del Mar College 2006 triple major graduate with AAS degrees in Computer Forensics, Information Systems Security, and Network Administration. Although Abby enjoys both the hardware and software sides of IT, her preference lies with hardware and networking. |
