What motivates you to learn?

College students will often cite that the subject matter motivates them to learn more about the material, particularly in their major area. Once they become familiar with the background knowledge in their major area and experience the thrill of succeeding in class, their motivation levels increase, propelling them to even greater levels of success.

However, it takes a high degree of motivation to get through years of college. The stresses and strains of difficult courses, long hours spent studying, and meager incomes takes its toll on even the most enthusiastic of scholars.
