What motivates you to learn?
Different
people have different triggers but everyone has something that motivates them
to succeed. College students will often cite that the subject matter motivates
them to learn more about the material, particularly in their major area. Once
they become familiar with the background knowledge in their major area and experience
the thrill of succeeding in class, their motivation levels increase, propelling
them to even greater levels of success.
However, it takes a high degree of motivation to get through years of college. The stresses and strains of difficult courses, long hours spent studying, and meager incomes takes its toll on even the most enthusiastic of scholars.
This is why It is important to learn
techniques to motivate yourself. A highly motivated person will have no trouble
excelling in even the most difficult of college courses. This section on motivation
deals with student motivation and how being properly motivated can help you
succeed in the online learning environment.
