Sum I BIOL-1408.709 BLACKBOARD! This is a NINE WEEKS Summer course. View the orientation movie for this course at http://tinyurl.com/o2ozma If you are an inexperienced online student new to Blackboard, go to your “My Blackboard” page, and click “Log In”. Enter your user name and password; then under the “Campus Bookmarks” (at the bottom of the right column) click “Student Tutorials”. Do the “Navigating in Blackboard” and “Assessments” tutorials BEFORE starting this course. If you are an experienced Blackboard user you do not need to view these orientation tutorials. View the Lecture Course Homepage the FIRST DAY OF CLASSES, and complete the list of activities shown in the “START HERE/Day One” folder. Students needing help entering the online course (UserID, Password, etc.), should contact the DMC Help Desk at 361-698-2330. For additional information contact the instructor via your Blackboard course email, or at wbrower@delmar.edu. You will be able to log into the course on the FIRST DAY OF CLASS. You must “attend” your first online lab, by completing the “Microscopy” Virtual Biology Laboratory module within the first few days of the semester (see your Course Calendar for more specific details). Visit the “Biology 1408 Virtual Biology Lab” website, for more information regarding the MANDATORY online lab course. IMPORTANT NOTICE—You do not immediately need access codes to enter the lecture or VBL websites.
