DMC Alert

Emergency Notification System

In the event of a campus emergency or an important event, Del Mar College will use DMC Alert to send all students, faculty, and staff information quickly. When a message is sent out, DMC Alert will use all communication methods on file with the system to reach you.

Review your Contact Information

Log in to DMC Alert

This will take you to a page where you can review your emergency contact information. Log in with your DMC credentials (username only and password). If your information is incorrect, please enter the correct information and feel free to include additional contact methods if you wish. You may designate several contact methods, including text messaging, phone/voicemail, and email.

If you provide a number to receive text messages, Del Mar College is not responsible for any additional fees that may be charged by your wireless carrier when those messages are delivered.

Opt-In Feature for Non-DMC users

Now anyone can sign up to receive DMC Alert text messages! Just text dmcalert to the number 226787 and you’ll be on the list. You can also scan the QR Code below and hit “send” to sign up as well.

This is great for friends and family of students and employees, contractors working on campus, or anyone who wants to stay informed during an emergency at Del Mar College.

Don't Be the Last to Know!

First and foremost, Del Mar College will use DMC Alert to send you information for your safety and security in the event of an emergency situation that affects our students and employees. It is critical that we have current and correct contact information on file for this purpose.

NOTE: The DMC Alert system records are completely separate from records kept by the Admissions and Financial Aid Offices (for students) and Human Resources (for faculty and staff). Any changes made to your contact information on DMC Alert will not be reflected in your official records or admissions file at the College, and will not be used for any other purpose besides DMC Alert notifications.
