The Bartlett
Theatre is a flexible blackbox space, and normally
holds between 80-130 patrons. The Bartlett not only serves as the
principle production venue for Del Mar Drama, but is also used as
a classroom for numerous drama courses. Its state-of-the-art lighting
and sound equipment supports the five- to seven-production season
of plays. |

The Rehearsal
Hall is a multi-purpose facility. While its primary
function is that of a classroom, it is used for rehearsing acting
scenes and productions. Its proximity to the Bartlett Theatre and
dressing rooms and audio and video stage monitoring make it an ideal
Greenroom during performances. |

The Scene
and Costume Shops support the technical needs for drama
productions. Men’s and Women’s Dressing Rooms each contain
eight lighted makeup stations, private toilets, and personal item
storage. |

The Graphics
Lab is an Apple Macintosh-compatible computer lab shared
with the Art Department. Fifteen stations allow students to scan
documents, large-format artwork, and slides, and print up to tabloid-size
materials. Photo imaging and manipulation, graphic art, computer
aided drafting and design, and stage lighting software is installed
at each station. |
