Shara Haghjoo has been an instructor in the Del Mar Drama program
since Fall 2005. Ms Haghjoo received her M.F.A from CUNY- Brooklyn
College in Theater Design and Technology specializing in Costume
Design. She has received a B.F.A in Theater Design From Baylor
University Waco, TX and an A.A in Fashion Design from Bauder
Fashion College Arlington, Tx. With over twenty years of
professional experience in Costuming and the Fashion industry. Ms
Haghjoo's New York City credits include several seasons running
wardrobe at the Brooklyn Center For The Performing Arts where she
worked with national and international acclaimed touring companies.
Ms Haghjoo also serves as wardrobe consultant for several
internationally acclaimed recording artists, film producers and
record companies. Her current cutting edge research includes: The
Integration of Costumes with Fiber Optics and LED lighting
systems. This work has been presented at United States Institute
for Theatre Technology conferences, PBS public access channel and
Nickelodeon Television.
Ms. Haghjoo teaches the following courses at Del Mar College: Intro to Costume Dram 1310, Stage Makeup Dram 1341, Acting I Dram 1351, Theatre Practicum II Dram1121. |
