Meeting Minutes

All full-time faculty automatically become members of the committees for the courses they teach. Responsibilities of each committee include:

  • Administering course assessment measures
  • Selecting textbooks
  • Monitoring unit plans
  • Reviewing and revising the general course syllabus
  • Providing a forum for exchanging ideas on how to improve instruction

Student Requirements/Educational Objectives for English 0305/0306 involve students, by the end of the course, being able to:

  • demonstrate knowledge and using of the writing process, including revision and editing
  • produce well-developed paragraphs and/or essays that are organized around a clear main idea, are logical, and are edited to the level expected of ENGL 0307 students
  • use basic literary resources such as general indices and DMCNet
