European Vacation...
In 2006, I traveled to Europe, visiting France, Germany, Poland, the Czech Republic and Switzerland. The highlights of this trip were seeing Auschwitz (a devastating and affective experience), walking through (the former East) Berlin, paying exorbitant prices for extraordinarily good coffee in Paris, and a 17th century hotel room overlooking the magnificence of Main Square in Krakow, Poland.
As always, I was looking for material to use in the classroom, and the jpegs below are some of the images that I'll be using for that purpose.
