The English faculty of Del Mar College created Teacher Feature as a way to share with colleagues and the community at large special student writings that struck us for one reason or another.
Writings chosen for display may:
- Exhibit great improvement for a particular student
- Contain unusually well-phrased sentences
- Provide information from which other students would benefit
- Have made the teacher smile in the midst of grading
While not all of the Teacher Feature papers will be grammatically or structurally perfect, they all deserve praise - and we wanted a place to share such noteworthy student writing.
The Teacher Feature Display Case is on the first floor of the English building - right next to the English department office. Each month will feature a different showcase of student writing. We invite you to come by and see the papers on display. And, if you know the student writers . congratulate them!
