How to Submit a Paper
You can submit your paper in one of two ways: as an email attachment or by using the Online
Submission Form.
Whether you use email attachment or online submission, be sure to include in your message
- Your instructor's name, your course name and number, and the actual assignment as given in
class-be as specific and comprehensive as you can. If your instructor gives verbal instructions,
clarify what you believe the assignment to be.
- Also your full name, and, if your assignment is an essay or research paper, your thesis statement
and major supporting statements.
When submitting your paper as an email attachment, be sure to
- Access your email program
- Send your paper as an attachment instead of pasting it into your email message
- Send your email to tutor@delmar.edu.
When using online submission to submit your paper, be sure to
- Submit it via the Internet using the Online Submission Form
- Remember, the Online Submission Form is in text-only format, so features like underlining,
bullets, indentations, and italics won't be transferred, but don't worry, we can still read your
work.
In addition to submitting papers, you can email quick questions about grammar, spelling, punctuation,
etc. to tutor@delmar.edu.
If at anytime you are unsure about something, don't hesitate to email your online tutor!
