Priority Deadlines

These dates are set to ensure a timely processing of your file. Applications are accepted throughout the year on a funds-available basis.

Deadlines for the Financial Aid Program
Academic Year - May 1
Spring - October 1
Summer Sessions - February 15

Scholarship applications are accepted throughout the academic year. Applications received by the priority deadlines listed here receive first consideration for the upcoming academic year:

Del Mar College Scholarships
Academic Year Funding April 1 for incoming freshmen
February 15 for returning students
Del Mar College Foundation Scholarships
Academic Year Funding May 1 for selected scholarships
Spring Semester Funding September 1 prior to spring
Summer Session Funding March 15 prior to summer
 
Del Mar College Former Students' Association Scholarships
Academic Year Funding July 1
Additional scholarship funds may become available throughout the year. Contact the Financial Aid Office for updated scholarship information.

Federal Direct Student Loan Program
Fall - October 1
Spring - March 1
Summer - June 1
