Joseph A. Cain Memorial Scholarship
A scholarship is awarded to a sophomore majoring in art. This scholarship fund honors the late Joseph A. Cain, who served as chair of the Art Department. For more information, contact the Department of Art.

Visual Arts Scholarship
A scholarship is awarded to a student majoring in visual arts.

Juanita Sloan Memorial Scholarship
One scholarship is awarded to a professional secretary major enrolled in secretarial courses. Selection is based on scholastic ability. Carl Duckwall Memorial Scholarship in Voice
A scholarship is awarded to a student majoring in voice. Selection is based upon musical performance, skills, and scholastic ability. MacKenzie Book Scholarships
Several book awards are awarded to music majors. This scholarship was established by Geneve MacKenzie. For more information, contact the Department of Music and Drama.

John R. Meitzen Memorial for Brass Scholarship
A scholarship is awarded to an outstanding sophomore brass player. Selection is based upon musical performance, skills, and scholastic ability. This scholarship was established in 1982 in memory of John R. Meitzen, an alumnus of Del Mar College. For more information, contact the Department of Music and Drama.

Blaise Montandon Memorial Piano Scholarship
A scholarship is awarded to an outstanding piano student. Selection is based upon musical performance skills and scholastic ability. This scholarship honors the memory of the late Blaise Montandon, a former professor of music at Del Mar College. For more information, contact the Department of Music and Drama.

The Rabbi Sidney Wolf Orchestral Scholarship
A scholarship is awarded to a student orchestral major. Selection is based upon musical performance, skills, and scholastic ability. This scholarship was established in 1982 honoring Rabbi Sidney Wolf. For more information, contact the Department of Music and Drama.

The Thursday Music Club/Eleanor Seitter Memorial Scholarship

DEPARTMENT OF MATHEMATICS

Mary Hoyle Bain Scholarships
Scholarships are awarded to a Del Mar student majoring in mathematics or a mathematics-related field or to an outstanding high school student desiring to attend Del Mar College and planning to major in mathematics or a mathematics- related field. Students receiving these awards must enroll in at least three hours of mathematics each semester. The mathematics classes must be approved by the chairperson of the Mathematics Department. Burkhart-Reed Scholarship Fund
This scholarship fund was established for needy deserving students in the Vocational Nursing program.
