Types of Scholarships at Del Mar College:

Del Mar College Foundation Scholarships
Several scholarships are available to Del Mar academic, technical, and occupational students. Financial need is a consideration in awarding some of these scholarships. Recipients of the scholarships are selected by Foundation Scholarship Committee. Students submit a Scholarship Application along with a high school and / or college transcript. The Del Mar College Foundation is governed by a volunteer Board of Trustees whose mission is to support education at Del Mar College. The Foundation awards scholarships in the fall and spring semesters and the summer session.

Del Mar College Former Student's Association Scholarships
The Former Student's Association offers scholarships to DMC students. These scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic achievement and financial need.

State Funded Scholarships
To be considered for State-Funded Scholarships, students should complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and demonstrate financial need.

Departmental Scholarships
Several scholarships are awarded by various departments. Recipients are selected by the department's Scholarship Subcommittee. For more information, contact the appropriate department.
