Del Mar College conducts its mission by providing educational services to a primary geographical area consisting of Nueces, San Patricio, Aransas, Kennedy, and part of Kleberg Counties. In addition to its East and West Campuses in Corpus Christi, the College conducts classes at Naval Air Station - Corpus Christi, Naval Air Station – Ingleside, and in several outlying communities. In addition, students are attracted to the College from numerous other Texas counties, states, and countries because of its specialized programs.
The East Campus is a 60-acre site bounded by Baldwin, Ayers, Edwards, and Naples Streets. The Continuing Education Program and the College’s purchasing offices and warehouse are located on a site across from the Ayers/Edwards Street intersection. Recently, the College initiated the purchase of home sites on York Street - an area bounded by Naples, South Staples, and Kosar Streets.
The West Campus contains almost 100 acres and is located at the intersection of Old Brownsville Road and Airport Road. Over one half of the site is undeveloped and the 16 buildings accommodate approximately 12% of the College’s students.
