After a series of interviews and workshops with the Regents, administration, deans, heads of departments, faculty, staff, and students, a public forum was held with the general public to review the improvement goals. This process was successful in reaching consensus among Del Mar’s stakeholders for the following Improvement Goals:

! Existing Building Conditions
! Site Improvements-Landscape/Site Amenities
! Building Contents/Furnishings/Equipment
! Infrastructure (below ground)
! Wayfinding-Signage/Graphics/Campus Image
! Student Spaces/Student Gatherings
! Pedestrian/Vehicular/Service Conflicts
! Air Quality/HVAC Replacements
! Location of New Facilities
