Purpose Statement
The Former Students' Association Wall of Honor spotlights the personal and professional achievements of students who have
attended Del Mar College.
Additionally, this honor for former students is granted for their dedication, commitment, and excellence in their
profession on a local, state, national and/or international level of excellence as demonstrated by their performance since
leaving Del Mar College.
By adding the former students' names to the FSA Wall of Honor, the Association acknowledges their accomplishments and
recognizes their contributions to our South Texas community.
Eligibility Guidelines
- Any individual interested in Del Mar College's welfare may submit nominations for the
Wall of Honor.
- Individuals cannot nominate themselves.
Selection Criteria
The following criteria are used to consider nominations for the FSA Wall of Honor:
- demonstrated outstanding achievement in their profession
- demonstrated outstanding community service
- commitment to the goals and purposes of the Former Students' Association
- exemplifies an outstanding role model for the Del Mar College community
Nomination and Submission Procedures
- Nominations must be received by September 15 of each year.
- Nomination guidelines are available from Del Mar College's Web site or from members of the Former Students' Association
Board and the Del Mar College Foundation Office.
- The FSA Wall of Honor committee will review nominations, make final selections, and submit recommendations to the FSA
Board of Directors for approval.
