Tourism, business travel, and conventions are fueling expansion of line hotel/motel industry in Texas, and especially in the Coastal Bend area. The program includes off-campus experience as well as on-campus course work leading to the Associate in Applied Science degree. One Certificate program, Hotel/Motel Supervisor, is also offered.

  • To provide fully accredited occupational, academic, and pre-professional courses leading to certificates, associate’s degrees and/or the first two years of transferable credits towards baccalaureate degrees.
  • To provide opportunities to train for economic independence; and to prepare for job entry, occupational advancement, and career development.
  • To develop the student’s competencies and work effectively in entry-level management training positions (Housekeeping, Front Desk, Sales, or other hotel opportunities) leading to General Manager.
