Restaurant Management
Many of today's most exciting career opportunities are found in the rapidly expanding field of Restaurant Management. Positions offering financial security and rapid advancement are available in restaurants, hotel, clubs, schools, hospitals, catering firms, nursing homes, and everywhere people dine away from home. Of the more than one thousand community college programs in the country, Del Mar's Restaurant Management Program has been named one of the top five by the National Restaurant Association and the American Vocational Association.
A number of scholarships for students who wish to enroll in this program have been made available by the Coastal Bend Restaurant Association and others. For application, contact the Hospitality Management Department.
