        EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY

ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR – WEB AND TECHNICAL SERVICES

ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, and five or more years of recent and related job experience in providing functional and technical leadership, personnel supervision of various service groups related to internet support, network support, telecom, helpdesk, desktop support and other support services. PREFERRED Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Expert knowledge of network architecture and enterprise level network design/infrastructure. Must have a recent proven track record of high level problem and error analytics and resolution. Must have proven skills in telecom, networking, enterprise-wide server and internet provisioning. Experience dealing with technology consultants/vendors.  Ability to conduct technical presentations to both technical and non-technical audience.

SALARY: Commensurate with education and experience within the College group/salary structure, plus benefits.

 

EMPLOYMENT STATUS: Full-time, expiring term, Exempt.            

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:  Assist in daily supervision of the Internet Service Group, Network Support Group, Helpdesk, Computer Specialist Support Group, and Voice/Telecom Support; provide Web and technical support leadership and supervision; provide project coordination and leadership in College-wide provisioning and support of the College’s desktop computers, network servers, Web resources, network infrastructure, and ensure desktop and network information integrity and security. Provide staff supervision; perform support and enablement; conduct evaluations of technology; provide procurement recommendations; perform problem and error resolution; provide project coordination, development and oversight; coordinate and collaborate with Information Technology Administration; and perform other technical support duties. Others duties include serving various College committees; attending external conferences and/or meetings; networking with other IT professionals internal and external to the College; and perform other duties as assigned.
