SOFTWARE DEVELOPER
ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS: Education and Experience: A Bachelors degree in computer science or related field and 1 year of experience as a full-time Software Developer or Database Administrator. PREFERRED ADDITIONAL JOB SKILLS: Expert knowledge and experience in C++, Java, XML, SQL, HTML, .NET, Relational Database design, Technical, written and oral communication. Experience with OpenLaszio, JavaScript, .NET, VBScript, Active Directory, Workflow Automation, Datatel Colleague, and Envision is a plus.
SALARY: Commensurate with education and experience within the College group/salary structure, plus benefits.
EMPLOYMENT STATUS: Full-time, with benefits.
TRAVEL REQUIRED: Inter-campus travel, out-of-town meetings and workshops, DR site.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Write, develop, maintain scripts/macros, relational databases for both desktop and server mode. Research, develop, maintain, and provide new deployment of static and online data to users. Maintain and support documents and/or workflow databases. Make recommendations for new ways of providing institutional data and reports for end users. Design and configure databases/data warehouse, and datamarts. Perform software research and software development. 24/7 on call status. Perform other duties as assigned.
