EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY
TRUCK DRIVER TRAINER
ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS: Class A Commercial Drivers License. Five (5) years OTR driving experience. Clear driving record as evidenced by a State of Texas Motor Vehicle Report. Current DOT physical. Must be able to work flexible schedule. Experience in driver training a plus. A pre-employment background check and/or physical will be conducted.
SALARY: $13.50 per hour. No benefits.
CONTRACT STATUS: Part-time, at-will; 19 hours per week.
WORKING HOURS: Work as scheduled by the Transportation Services Unit.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Demonstrate the proper and safe operation of commercial motor vehicles and tractor-trailer combinations; commercial vehicle safety control and braking systems; vehicle maintenance; state and federal highway regulations governing operation of commercial vehicles. Evaluate student capabilities and progress in accordance with the State of Texas standardized testing materials.
LOCATION: Transportation Training Services, West Campus
