• TRUCK DRIVING INSTRUCTOR

    ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or equivalent certificate.  Five (5) years OTR driving experience with clean background and driving record.  Ability to teach multiple students in a classroom atmosphere, on the backing range, and driving on public roadways.    Ability to work flexible hours and basic computer skills.  A pre-employment background check and/or physical will be conducted.

    PREFERRED Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Excellent knowledge of The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and good communication skills.  Experience in Driver Training.

    REQUIRED SPECIAL CERTIFICATION, LICENSES, OR QUALIFICATIONS:  Valid Texas Commercial Drivers License Class A, and current DOT Physical certification card.

    SALARY: $25.00 per hour

    EMPLOYMENT STATUS:  Part-Time, Hourly, Non-Exempt, At Will.

    SPECIAL WORKING HOURS and/or DAYS:  Mon – Sat (Flexible Hours).

    RESPONSIBILITIES:  Teach multiple students in a classroom atmosphere, on the backing range, and driving on public roadways according to The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.

    LOCATION:  Transportation Training Services – West Campus.
