    What is Password Management?
    Password Management is a set of tools available through the internet that allow you to change your account password, unlock a locked account, or reset a forgotten password.
     
    Setting up Password Management - VikingKey
    In order to use Password Management for resetting a forgotten password or unlocking an account you must have completed the initial enrollment in VikingKey. It is recommended that all users take a few minutes to set up your security questions for Password Management so that these tools are available in the event that a password is forgotten or account locked.
     
    Your password will expire every 120 days. 

    To change your password:  (*New instructions for VikingKey) 

    Users can change their passwords at anytime.

    1. Go to https://webapps.delmar.edu/pwd/  
    2. Click on Proceed to VikingKey 
    3. Click on Change My Password
    * Passwords must include the following: one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, one number, one symbol, and must be at least 8 characters in length.

    To RESET your password (password has been lost, forgotten, or expired) 

    1. In order to reset your password, you need to first enroll in VikingKey with your current password. If you don't know your password, please contact the Help Desk at (361) 698-2330.

    2. You will need to provide a separate email address for validation in case your password needs to be reset.

    3. You will also be asked to choose three security questions/answers and two pictures that will be used for validation.
