RACQUETBALL COURT REGULATIONS

1. Reservations may be made from l:00 - 4:00 p.m. on the day prior to participation. A student may make the reservation in person in Gymnasium 108 or by calling 698-1947.

2. Reservations for Saturday, Sunday and Monday may be made on Thursday from l:00 - 4:00 p.m. or Friday morning from 8:00 - l0:00 a.m. Unreserved courts may be used by signing the reservation sheet posted in the racquetball area.

3. Reservations are made for a time period of one hour and participants must leave the court at the end of that time unless the next players have not yet arrived.

4. DMC ID must be presented on day of play and participants must sign in to use facilities.

5. Late arrivals relinquish their court reservation after l0 minutes.

6. Students must be properly attired for participation in racquetball facility:

a. no black soled shoes that mark the court;
b. shirts, shorts or sweats must be worn;
c. eye guards must be worn at all times in the court.

7. ALL PLAYERS MUST WEAR EYE GUARDS! They may be checked out from the equipment room if the player(s) do not own their own. Eyeglasses are acceptable.

8. If a student refuses to wear eye guards, he or she will be asked to leave the facility.

9. Participants will be removed from the facility for abuse of the court (walls, floors, doors, bulletin boards, chalkboard, or littering the facility) areas.

10. Any participant acting in a disrespectful manner to other participants or supervisors will be suspended indefinitely. (See General Regulations regarding suspension.)

11. All children below 12 years of age must have parent or guardian present at all times. No exceptions.

12. No eating or drinking in racquetball courts or balcony area. Water is permitted.

13. Please refer to "General Regulations" for additional information.

14. To insure safety, additional rules may be enforced, as needed.
