We are glad you have
stopped by our online Math 0373 Lab. Students who are taking
Math 0373 are required to attend a one hour a week lab as a
part of their course grade. The Math Lab is located in
CB107. Currently, students are using
http://www.delmar.edu/math/MLC/InterActMath.htmlwebsite to
work on their lab assignments.
The Mission
The mission of the Math
0373 labs is to reinforce, through
computer-assisted learning and/or hands-on group projects,
fundamental algebraic concepts that are essential for
student success in Intermediate Algebra and College Algebra.
Lab Policies
- Be sure you are familiar with
the lab policies as outlined by your lab instructor.
Disrupting this lab will result in your being dropped from your
Intermediate Algebra class.
- Attend your lab sessions
regularly and punctually, and be prepared to participate.
Missing 10 minutes of a lab counts as one absence.
- Make up missed labs as soon as
possible (within 2 weeks for fall and spring and within 1 week
for summer). No labs can be made up after the last lab of
the semester (prior to finals week). Remember: Absences
may be made up during regular hours at the Intermediate Algebra
Lab, but you will only be allowed to make up 4 of your missed
labs. It is YOUR responsibility to be aware of the number
of times you have been absent and of the last day for make-ups.
For further information on attendance policies, speak to your
lab instructor.
- The penalty for failing to
make up a missed lab is 4 points off your grade for the course.
For example, if you finish the course with an average of 86 but
fail to make up two labs, your course grade will be reduced to
78, dropping your grade from a B to a C.
- Completion of the Lab Project
assignments is mandatory and due no later than the posted and
announced deadline. No make-ups are given.
- Any tampering with the
settings on the computers will result in an automatic absence.
