Online & Computer Assisted Classes

To get started with MyMathLab you will need the following:

• A computer with Internet access. Check system requirements
• A valid e-mail address.
• A student Access Code. Access Code comes with a new text book and is good for several years. If you decide not to buy a traditional book (an online textbook is provided with MML online) you can buy an access code separately either in the Del Mar book store or online while registering for a course.
• The Course ID is provided by your instructor. For Online classes visit your instructor's web page.
• School zip code: 78404

MyMathLab Registration.
Several different ways are possible. Follow the links for detailed information:

• If you have bought access code in the book store then you can Register and Enroll in a Course with an Access Code.
• You can buy the access code online while registering for MyMathLab: Register and Enroll in a Course without an Access Code.
• If you were enrolled into another MyMathLab course you can Enroll in Another Course with the same Text Book using the same access code.

Several more important things to remember:

• Take MyMathLab Virtual Tour. It will help you to understand all the advantages of using the MML software for you success in a class.
• Actually you do not need a traditional textbook for your MML course. You will have the eBook online. It is your choice or requirement of your instructor to buy the access code with the traditional textbook or not.
• The first time you log in the MyMathLab from your computer and anytime you use a new computer, click on the software Installation Wizard on the Announcements page. This wizard will walk you through the installation of the software you will need to use the MyMathLab resources.
• While learning with MyMathLab you will have access to interactive tutorial exercises with help function; study plan for self-paced learning; online lecture videos on each section of a textbook, etc. Lecture videos are also available at DMC Math Learning Center Web Page
