Medical Laboratory Technology Program

MLT students are encourged to join the Clinical Laboratory Science Professional Organization. Membership to the American Society for Clinical Laboratory Scientist (ASCLS), also gives the student membership to the Texas Association for Clinical Laboratory Scientist (TACLS).

Students are eligible to take a national registry examination from the American Society for Clinical Pathologist, Board of Registry, or the National Certification Agency for clinical Laboratory Personnel.
