- Start up and shut down your computer.
- Open and close software programs installed on your computer's hard drive.
- Use your computer's operating system (either Windows or Mac OS).
- Locate files on your computer’s desktop or hard drive.
- Use the CD-ROM Drive.
- Install and uninstall software on your computer's hard drive.
- Use a word processor (type in text, save and retrieve files, print, copy, cut, paste, format).
- Connect to and use the Internet (use a browser, find and navigate web sites, use search engines, download software).
- Send and receive e-mail.
