Auditorium as Part of Fundraiser for All-State Choir Camp

WHAT: Choral Concert featuring the premiere of John Rutters Mass
of the Children
WHEN: 7:30 p.m., Friday, April 29
WHERE: Richardson Auditorium, Del Mar College East Campus, Ayers and
Baldwin (campus map available at www.delmar.edu/maps/east.html)
VISUALS: Over 350 performers, including choral singers and musicians,
giving the premiere performance of English composer John Rutters piece,
Mass of the Children. The choral concert will also highlight Gabriel Faurés
Requiem, the choral work that Corpus Christi Chorale and DMC Concert Choir members
will perform in New York Citys Carnegie Hall in June.
FYI: English composer John Rutter wrote Mass of the Children to highlight
young voices in addition to an adult choir, orchestra and soprano and baritone
soli. In keeping with the composers design, young singers with the Flour
Bluff, Tuloso-Midway and Miller High Schools will perform with the Corpus Christi
Chorale, the Del Mar College Concert Choir, three guest soloists and the Corpus
Christi Youth Symphony during a performance set for 7:30 p.m. on Friday in the
Colleges Richardson Auditorium.
