August 17 Deadline Approaching for Students to Pay Tuition and Fees for Credit Courses Registered Online for Fall Semester
Students urged to pay by deadline to keep class schedules

Online registration for Del Mar College’s fall 2005 credit courses ends today. As of yesterday, over 9,100 students used the service to register for courses.

Students who used online registration have through the end of the day next Wednesday, Aug. 17, to pay their tuition and fees. Schedules will be stripped from the system after that date to prepare for arena-style registration set for Aug. 23-24.

Students or parents can access online payment services that use E-Check or CASHNet SMARTPAY by going to https://dmccert.delmar.edu/ or they can call 1-866-546-2399 to pay by credit card. The College has contracted with CASHNet SMARTPAY services to handle credit card payments using online services located on the Del Mar College Web site or using their telephone system. SMARTPAY accepts payments using Mastercard, Visa, American Express and Discover.

Currently, the College’s Business Office will accept all forms of payments–cash, check or credit card (Mastercard and Visa only)–over the counter for tuition and fees until Sept. 30. Cashier windows are located on the second floor of the Harvin Student Center on the East Campus, Ayers at Kosar, and the first floor of the Administration Building on the West Campus, Old Brownsville and Airport Roads. Office hours are 7:30 a.m. until 6 p.m.

Beginning Oct. 1, 2005, the DMC Business Office will accept cash or check payments ONLY over the counter for tuition and fees. However, after Oct. 1, cashiers will continue to accept credit card payments for charges other than tuition and fees, such as library and parking fines.

For more information about payment methods, call the Del Mar College Business Office at 698-1269.

Fall 2005 credit courses begin Monday, Aug. 29.
