Online Registration for Fall 2005 Begins July 25
Students urged to register and pay for classes early to avoid long lines during campus registration

Online registration for Del Mar College’s fall 2005 credit courses begins Monday, July 25, and runs through Aug. 11. Since implementing registration on the College’s Web site, credit course sections have filled up early because more DMC students have gone online to register each semester.

College administrators urge students, who have complete admissions files, to take advantage of online registration before the deadline to avoid standing in lines during arena-style registration and to ensure students get the classes they need.

Students can go online at http://www.delmar.edu/registration.html for all the information they need about online registration and payment methods. Advising appointments for assistance in course selection are available 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays and 8 a.m. until noon on Fridays. For more information about registration and advising, call the Office of Admissions and Registrar at 698-1255 or 1-800-652-3357.

Officials also recommend that students who register online pay by the Aug. 17 deadline. Schedules will be stripped from the system after that date to prepare for arena-style registration Aug. 23-24.

Students or parents can access online tuition payment services that use E-Check or CASHNet SMARTPAY using a credit card (VISA, Master Card, American Express, or Discover) by going to https://dmccert.delmar.edu/ or they can call 1-866-546-2399 to pay by credit card. Individuals will need to go online to look up the amount of their tuition before conducting their payment transaction.

Additionally, payment of fees and other costs is a separate transaction that can be made in person at the College’s Business Office on the second floor of the Harvin Student Center on the East Campus, Ayers at Kosar, and the first floor of the Administration Building on the West Campus, Old Brownsville and Airport Roads. Individuals can pay by cash, check or credit card (MasterCard and Visa only). Office hours are 7:30 a.m. until 6 p.m.

For more information about payment methods, call the Del Mar College Business Office at 698-1269.

Fall 2005 credit courses begin on Monday, Aug. 29.
